CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS • The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles (hereafter “DMV”) must license the Contractor as a commercial driving school pursuant to G.S.20-320.et seq. • Vendor must have three years’ experience as a Driver Education Contractor (large school system experience preferred). ORAL PRESENTATIONS A vendor who submits a proposal in response to the RFP may be required to give an oral presentation and/or clarification of his/her proposal to WCPSS. This will provide an opportunity for the vendor to clarify or elaborate on his/her proposal but will in no way change the vendor’s original proposal. The cost of preparing for and attending the meeting will be at the vendor’s expense. WCPSS will schedule the time and location of each such presentation if WCPSS determines that an oral presentation is necessary. SPECIFICATIONS Under WCPSS supervision, the Contractor shall administer a program of driver education that complies in every respect with the provisions of the Motor Vehicle Laws of North Carolina, Article 14, General Statutes 20 – 320 through 20 – 339, and is subject to all rules and regulations of the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles and approved by the N.C. Department of Public Instruction. In accordance with such law, the Contractor agrees to administer a program, which meets the following standards and requirements.
