1. Contractor shall pressure wash connected pipes and fuel tank. 2. Contractor shall remove any old decals from the existing fuel tank. 3. Contractor shall remove any surface contamination as necessary. 4. Contract shall apply one (1) coat of Sherwin Williams Macropoxy 646, Reference Brand (must be equivalent or better); to both the tank and all connected piping. a. Note: If Contractor shall quote an alternative product, contractor must provide literature on how the alternative product meets or exceeds the specifications of the reference product with the bid. 5. Contractor shall apply two (2) coats of Sherwin Williams Hi-solids polyurethane, Reference Brand (must be equivalent or better); to both the tank and all connected piping.. a. Note: If Contractor shall quote an alternative product, contractor must provide literature on how the alternative product meets or exceeds the specifications of the reference product with the bid. 6. Contractor shall install new decals on existing fuel tank per local, state, and federal regulations (including but not limited to): a. Hazard Warning b. Material Stored Storage Capacity c. Tank ID Number 7. Contractor shall be responsible for the removal of all trash generated and unused supplies.
