Bed Frames 3.1.1.1 The vendor will provide exactly 120 bed frames. 3.1.1.2 Bed frames must be constructed of a sealed metal design with no cracks or openings and black in color. 3.1.1.3 Bed frames must be no less than 36 inches wide, no more than 38 inches wide and no less than 76 inches in length and no more than 80 inches in length or otherwise able to accommodate a 6”x36”x75” mattress. The bed frame height must be no less than 16 inches and no more than 18 inches. 3.1.1.4 Bed frames must have at least 1000 lb. weight capacity. 3.1.1.5 Bed frames must be easy to assemble. 3.1.1.6 Bed frames must have metal footboards no less than 23 inches in height, no more than 25 inches in height and be black in color. 3.1.1.7 Bed frames must have metal headboards no less than 38 inches in height and no more than 40 inches in height and be black in color— see EXHIBIT B-PHOTO EXAMPLES. 3.1.2 Mattresses 3.1.2.1 The vendor will provide exactly 120 mattresses. 3.1.2.2 Mattresses must be a minimum of 6 inches in depth. 3.1.2.3 Mattresses must be 36 inches wide and 75 inches in length. 3.1.2.4 Mattresses must have foam encased innerspring construction. 3.1.2.5 Mattresses must have a vinyl or nylon cover with inverted sewn seam intended to decrease crevasses on the mattresses. 3.1.2.6 Mattresses must meet or exceed the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 701 code: Standard Methods of Fire Tests for Flame Propagation of Textiles and Films.
