As outlined in F&R proposal number 2459-00188 dated April 25, 2024, the supplemental survey will be performed to: Provide supplemental sampling of previously excluded suspect materials; Proactively identify potentially concealed materials; Reduce the number of presumed materials such that an improved understanding of the certain regulated materials at the buildings results; Development of a more refined budget for abatement. Services related to updating the existing asbestos specification documents are provided as well. These documents will be provided under a separate cover to be incorporated as part of a larger project manual for bidding purposes. Based on information provided by the client, it is F&R’s understanding that the extent of the demolition activity is the demolition of three (3) single-story structures on the VPCC campus in Hampton, Virginia. Consequently, only those areas which are anticipated to be impacted by the demolition scope of work were included in this survey. As such, this survey as performed does not constitute a comprehensive building survey and this report shall not be utilized for the determination of presence or absence of Regulated Materials outside of the demolition area should the scope of work be altered or expanded beyond that of the currently scheduled demolition.
