This project seeks to plant up to 56.5 acres of openings with NWSG and forbs. Acres specified are estimated only. Award recommendation will be made to complete the maximum acreage possible based on the proposal received. Contractor will provide all labor and equipment as well as other supplies and services necessary to perform the work as specified below. All seed is to be provided by the DNR. The Contractor is responsible for any mixing required to plant, including filler. Filler must be of an organic, decomposable material. Total acreage for the grassland openings is approximately 56.5 acres. Openings will be prepped (herbicide application) by DNR. Openings have been planted with cover crops and soil amendments have been completed during the previous 3 years.
