The scope of work consists of, but shall not be limited to, the supply, installation, and maintenance of a 500KW – 120/208-volt, 3 phase generator with a 72-hour fuel supply on an ‘as needed’ basis. Generator provided shall come equipped with compatible cables for a CAM LOCK switch. The generator shall be delivered with a full tank of gas, enough to guarantee a 72-hour supply. The County shall be responsible for fueling the generator after the initial 72-hour supply has run out, if required. The awarded Contractor is responsible for connecting the rental generator to the assigned facility. The awarded Contractor must conduct an onsite generator test involving starting and running the generator, increasing the load, observing the generator’s performance, and checking all system components for normal operation from the date of award and must be prior to May 1st in the next contract year terms.
