Successful offeror(s) shall implement strategies focusing on the suicide prevention components of ‘enhancing life skills and resilience’ and ‘promoting social connectedness’ with the aim to increase protective factors that contribute to feelings of social isolation, including identifying and learning coping and problem-solving skills and increasing connections to friends, family, and community support. Preference will be given to offeror(s) who propose strategies that focus on providing in-person suicide prevention components within their proposal. Successful offeror(s) shall implement strategies focused on one or more of the high-risk populations of focus: Farmers and ranchers Native Americans North Dakotans living in rural areas Older adults Service members, veterans, or their families (SMVF) Youth and young adults
