The City of Carlsbad is requesting a Statement of Qualifications & Proposal from qualified firms to provide professional services to prepare updates to the local facilities management plans (LFMPs) for local facilities management zones (LFMZs) 1, 3, 5, 15, 17, 18, 22, and 23. The objectives of the update are to ensure the LFMPs: • Identify existing and future demand for public facilities, particularly as a result of the 2024 Housing Element rezone sites within the specified LFMZs. • Are consistent with the public facility performance standards specified in the Citywide Facilities and Improvements Plan, including the revisions recommended by the Carlsbad Tomorrow Growth Management Citizens Committee. • Comply with the Growth Management Ordinance requirements for local facility management plans.
