1. Site Preparation: Grade the designated spot for the building. 2. Building Supports: Dig holes measuring 4,000 psi concrete 2-ft x 2-ft x 2-ft for footers with reinforcing for all building posts. Rough opening between posts shall be 9-ft – 3-in wide by 14-ft high along front entrance of building 3. 10’ x 10’ Tool Room: Prepare a 10-ft x 10-ft area in the back right corner of the building site with gravel and moisture barrier. Pour 4-in thick, 4,000 psi concrete slab with 12-in x 8-in turn down, reinforced with Welded Wire Fabric (WWF) sheets 6x6-W2.9xW2.9. Use pressure treated lumber to frame the tool room with 2x4 walls and a 2x6 ceiling. Cover the tool room with 1/2" OSB (Oriented Strand Board). Paint OSB tool room exterior with exterior grade oil-based primer and top coat. Color to be selected by Owner. Install a 36-in metal door with a lock. 4. Building Structure: Size: 36-ft wide by 40-ft long with 16-ft high walls Wind loads: design to meet all building codes Construct building with 2x6 posts, stripped out with 2x6 for metal siding using pressure treated lumber. Use 3/12 pitch Gable trusses for the roof. Install five (5) steel trusses measuring 36-ft and 3-in length, bolt trusses to the posts. 5. Siding and Roofing: Install metal siding on three (3) sides of the frame. Install metal roofing. Colors to be selected by Owner. 6. Flooring: Place geotextile fabric and top with 6-inches of #57 crushed stone to line interior of building
