The City of Homestead Public Works and Engineering Department invites sealed proposals from qualified Professional Engineering firms (“Consultant”) meeting the minimum qualifications described in the scope of services listed below. It is the City’s intent to enter into an agreement with the most qualified engineering firm to complete the tasks required to prepare and complete a Comprehensive Vulnerability Assessment (VA). The project is funded by the U.S. Department of Treasury through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Resilient Florida Program, thus all requirements/regulations governing the funding source must be followed (Attachment A). In addition, the firm will provide the services in full compliance with all federal, state and local rules and regulations. Contract will be negotiated and awarded to a firm based on the best interest to the City.
