The Contractor must offer dental laboratory services for State of Minnesota agencies and members of the State’s Cooperative Purchasing Venture (CPV) program on an as needed basis. The Contractor must work with the agency staff, customer staff, Dentists, and Acquisitions Management Specialist on all aspects of the dental laboratory services. Cases will NOT be submitted digitally. 2.1 Services include. 2.1.1 complete dentures (conventional and immediate complete dentures) 2.1.2 cast metal partial dentures 2.1.3 acrylic partial dentures 2.1.4 flexible base partial dentures 2.1.5 complete and partial denture relines 2.1.6 repair of complete and partial dentures 2.1.7 reline of complete and partial dentures 2.1.8 adding teeth to complete and partial dentures 2.1.9 adding clasps to existing partial dentures 2.1.10 soft occlusal guards 2.1.11 hard occlusal guards 2.2. Tasks to perform. 2..1 pouring and trimming of alginate and PVS impressions 2..2 fabrication of custom trays 2..3 boxing and pouring of custom tray impressions 2..4 fabrication of baseplate and bite rims 2..5 ability to create acceptable posterior palatal seal using butterfly technique 2..6 denture tooth set up, including festooning and optimization of occlusion 2..7 denture tooth re-sets 2..8 fabrication of partial and complete dentures using acrylic 2..9 ability to follow design instructions for partial dentures 2..10 repairs of broken complete and partial dentures bases 2..11 adding teeth to existing complete and partial dentures 2..12 reline of existing complete and partial dentures using acrylic 2..13 fabrication of occlusal guards, using vacuum former 2..14 boxing and shipping of lab cases with appropriate protection of fragile case components (using bubble wrap, foam, etc.) 2..15 adherence to HIPAA compliance in storage and transportation of lab cases 2..16 suppliance of lab slips in a timely fashion for case instructions 2..17 suppliance of shipping labels in a timely fashion
