A. Hazardous Materials Inspection & Testing 1) Conduct comprehensive hazardous building materials surveys prior to renovation or demolition activities, including: Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACM) Lead-Based Paint (LBP) Mold and moisture intrusion Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) Mercury-containing devices Universal and electronic waste 1) Perform sampling and lab analysis in accordance with EPA, AHERA, Cal/OSHA, and DTSC requirements. 2) Identify, quantify, and map the location and condition of hazardous materials on site. 3) Provide recommendations for remediation and abatement activities. B. Environmental Monitoring & Oversight 1) Conduct real-time air quality monitoring during abatement and demolition activities. 2) Provide on-site Certified Site Surveillance Technicians (CSSTs) or Certified Asbestos Consultants (CACs). 3) Verify containment systems and decontamination units. 4) Conduct air sampling. 5) Perform final visual inspections and clearance testing. C. Documentation, Compliance & Reporting 1) Prepare survey reports, lab results, and abatement recommendations. 2) Assist with regulatory filings (TRPA, Cal/OSHA, EPA). 3) Maintain compliant records. 4) Provide CEQA-related documentation.
