It is the intent of this Request for Proposals to obtain professional design services to proceed with the final design, permitting, preparation of bid documents, and construction administration for the work shown on the concept drawings developed by the Monmouth County Park System. (See APPENDIX A). Based on consultation with MCPS, the Consultant will prepare complete construction plans and technical specifications as required to bid and construct this project. Specifically, the scope of work may require, but is not limited to, the following tasks: • It will be the Consultant’s responsibility to familiarize himself/herself with the overall project. The Consultant is responsible for the verification of existing conditions. • It is the responsibility of the Consultant to ensure that tasks are completed seamlessly and coherently without gaps. As a minimum, the Consultant will be required to make submissions in accordance with the following: • Permitting and Utility Coordination • Design Development • Construction Documents • Bidding Assistance • Construction Administration
