The Contractor shall maintain 90% plus weed control at each location. The City of Bartlett or its representative shall inspect all work upon completion as set forth in the contract. No payment will be made prior to completion of job or before inspection has been made. 4. The Contractor is responsible for measurements of property along with fertilization on selected areas twice a year. 5. Five Step Application/Fertilization Program, includes: two (2) Spring Applications – 1st Growth Regulator applied during 1st Spring Application; two (2) Summer Applications – 2nd Growth Regulator applied during 1st Summer Application (schools only); one (1) Fall Application 6. Nitrogen will be applied at a rate of 1-pound per 1,000 square feet. 7. Soil testing will be completed on an annual basis on all athletic fields to evaluate and assess the health of the soil to maximize effectiveness of chemical applications.
