The selected firm will be tasked with developing and implementing a detailed marketing and communications plan aimed at attracting new visitors, growing the number of residents, and promoting local business growth. The new campaign shall highlight the newest development opportunities, community assets, recent improvements, tourism attractions and events in the Town. Tasks include: 1. Analyzing previous and ongoing marketing efforts while conducting new market research to recommend the best marketing and communications strategies moving forward. 2. Working with the EDAC to further develop and elevate the Town’s brand as a regional waterfront recreational destination, historic and cultural resource, and tight-knit community. 3. Developing and implementing a detailed budget and schedule for various media planning, production and purchasing services aimed at reaching new audiences. 4. Creating and managing new content on the Town of Evans website and economic development and tourism webpages, social media accounts, newsletters, and promotional materials. 5. Working with Evans Community Events Committee on planning and promoting an annual summer festival associated with Evans waterfront assets, businesses and related activities. 6. Assisting the Town in preparing the required ESD progress, MWBE and final report documents.
