The project consists primarily of airfield improvements to the NRT Apron and is divided into five (5) distinct elements: • Base Bid – reconstruction of the existing apron asphalt pavement • Additive 1 – widening of the existing Taxiway A asphalt apron connector • Additive 2 – realignment and expansion of the existing Taxiway C asphalt apron connector • Additive 3 – expansion of the apron asphalt pavement (including work from Additives 1 and 2), removal of existing Taxiway T, and construction of two additional apron connectors • Additive 4 – expansion of the southeast side of the apron; Additional project components include installation of new high-mast apron lighting, airfield drainage modifications, new pavement markings, and replacement of airfield lighting and signage.
