1) The Contractor will provide the following services: a) Task 1: Equipment Rental Services i. The Contractor will provide, on an as-needed rental basis, heavy equipment units in good, working order. The Contractor is responsible for making any adjustments and repairs as needed to meet these standards. If equipment fails in the field, the Contractor will provide an alternative machine, or rental fees will be returned (prorated based on the availability of the used equipment). Related components include, but are not limited to, the following: A. Labor B. Maintenance (including fluids, brakes, engine, transmission, attachments, etc.) C. Transportation (i.e., Delivery, transfer, pick-up, etc.) D. Insurance E. Licenses F. Taxes ii. Rentals: A. Excavator: John Deere 245G (or equivalent) with thumb attachment B.
