The intent of this bid is to obtain term contract pricing for contract services for furnishing supplemental services based on campus electrical equipment and systems needs. Work to be performed will primarily be routine maintenance repair, troubleshooting, and installation of standard electrical systems; however, system modifications and new installations on a small scale may be performed to meet operational requirements. No quantity of work will be guaranteed, and work orders will be issued for work as required. When making repairs to equipment and systems, the supplier will advise LSUS FSA of the nature of the problems, the proposed solution, the lead time that the repair and/or parts delivery may take, and estimated cost before proceeding with the repair. The supplier shall supply LSUS FSA electricians who are qualified to work on high and low voltage electrical equipment and systems. Electrician's helpers will also be supplied to assist the electricians, as required. Direct supervision of helpers by Journeymen electricians is required. Manpower is to be furnished on an "as needed" basis and will be done under the supervision of the LSUS FSA. LSUS FSA will make daily work assignments, inspect work, coordinate work with other university personnel, and check daily time slips of hours worked. Hours worked are to be reported daily by the supplier. Suppliers shall not send more resources or persons than required for safe and successful completion of any work.
