The office of the Illinois Secretary of State is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the material and installation of low voltage infrastructure (Fiber) connections in Springfield, IL. This request also includes troubleshooting and repair of the current environment where needed. This contract will be for different projects and needs related to continuing modernization efforts with antiquated infrastructure. Vendors must be prepared to work in government locations with an asbestos environment for installation. Vendors will not be asked to provide any asbestos abatement. 1.2. SUPPLIES AND/OR SERVICES REQUIRED: 1.2.1. Separate cable runs will be requested per each project. Runs will go from the Data Centers located at 2701 Dirksen Parkway and 501 S. 2nd Street, the government fiber loop of the Capitol Complex in Springfield, IL. 1.2.2. Supplies that could be needed are addressed below: 1.2.2.1 12-96 strand fiber; 1.2.2.2 Single Mode/ multi-mode; 1.2.2.3 Multiple Fiber sizes (9, 50, 62.5, etc.); 1.2.2.4 Termination of Fiber Ends installed into Fiber Trays with being Tested and Certified; 1.2.2.5 Fiber Back Bone Reels; 1.2.2.6 Splicers, straps, innerduct, hangers etc. to be included
