The City of Trenton, Department of Recreation, Natural Resources, and Culture is soliciting sealed bids for landscaping services for numerous parks and facilities. The work is to include but not be limited to pruning shrubs, pesticide and herbicide control and fertilization services. The Turf Action Schedule shall be reviewed and mutually agreed to by the department prior to implementation. The Turf Action Schedule shall be due to the department no later than January 15 of each contract year. Plan shall outline the chemical type, analysis, timeline for application, and intended application rates. All chemicals must be applied by or supervised by a licensed applicator in accordance with label directions. All turf in parks shall be maintained in a healthy, green, vigorous condition during the growing season year-round. A minimum of four (4) times per year one (1) lb. of Nitrogen will be applied per 1,000 square feet.
