Fayette County water system has determined that the wooden fascia and soffit for the Peachtree Pump Station has deteriorated significantly and restoration is required (see Attachment A). Replacement with Hardie plank will provide a more permanent solution with longer life expectancy than replacement with wood. To complete this work the use of scaffolding will be necessary, as the pump station is surrounded by water with depths between 9 and 12 feet. • Remove all rotten fascia, soffit, moldings, and windowsill boards. • Detached drip edge if needed • Replace all boards with Hardie plank • Install new fascia and re-attach drip edge • Install new sofit with vents and screening • Install new window sills and associated fascia • Prime all new Hardie plank boards • Apply 2 coats of paint to newly installed Hardie boards with Sherwin Williams Pro Indutrial Alkyd Urethane (water based)
