The work to be performed under the referenced OPS will consist of professional engineering final design services for Contract No. P300.680, Operational Improvements between Garden State Parkway Interchanges 130 to 131 in accordance with the associated preliminary report, technical memorandums, and studies. The purpose and need of this project are to address operational, safety, and congestion concerns along the Garden State Parkway from Interchange 130 to Interchange 131 in both the northbound and southbound directions. This project provides for the construction of standard (12-foot) width left and right shoulders, multiple bridge replacements, ramp geometry, drainage, lighting, guide rail and other roadside area improvements.
