The work consists of providing completed Ambulance upfit boxes that will be mounted on Ford 550 Super Duty chassis trucks. Completed units will need to be returned to the City of Detroit for deployment from our Davison garage location. The City will provide the chassis to the vendor to install the upfits. AMBULANCE BODY SPECIFICATIONS: MODULE • AWS Aluminum Certified Welders shall construct the module • The manufacturer retains full control over the module design and ensures that the module construction meets or exceeds the highest standards of the industry • The module shall be bolted to the chassis frame rail with (12) 5/8" -11 grade 8 bolts through OEM rubber insulating spacers installed on outriggers at twelve (12) separate locations (six each frame rail), providing noise insulation and easy removal for chassis replacement. The frame mounting bolts shall be properly torqued and secured with Loctite • The entire underside of the module floor (except for mounting pads), the underside of the outside storage compartments, the wheel wells, and the underside of the curbside step area shall be completely
