A. It is the intent of the University to award multiple vendors for Next Generation Firewall Products & Services, inclusive of the categories below: 1. Next-Generation Firewall Products 2. Premium Product Support 3. Service Subscriptions 4. Professional Services 5. Training Services B. Basis of Design & Compatibility 1. The platform being used as the basis of design is Palo Alto. a. Firms may submit alternate solutions that meet or exceed the specifications and features of the referenced products as listed in this RFP. However, the University in its sole discretion, will determine if an alternate solution is acceptable. b. If an alternative solution is proposed, the firm shall supply informational material for evaluation and consideration purposes. Failure to provide informational material may result in a solution being deemed as a non-equivalent product. 2. Any proposed solution must be compatible with existing Rowan infrastructure and software.
