Identify Missing Meter Numbers: o Affix a weather-resistant sticker or tag directly to the meter for easier identification. 3. Document Meter with two (2) Photos o Capture a clear and readable photo that shows the entire water meter. o Photograph the surrounding area to provide the meter’s location. 4. Billing System Verification: o Cross-reference the identified meters in the field with the billing system database to verify correct customer information, meter readings, and rate applications. o Identify any overbilling or underbilling issues, including missing or incorrect meter readings, incorrect customer data, and misapplication of rates. o Provide detailed reports of findings, including discrepancies found, suggested corrections, and any further action required.
