3.1 This quote is for jail laundry services and leased garments. The items that is included in laundry, pants, tops, underwear (male & female), socks, towels, washcloths, sheets and blankets. No price increases will be allowed during the contract term. 3.2 There should be no scheduled pick-ups or deliveries before, 7 am or after, 4 pm. 3.3 All items must be completely dry, failure to do so, will result in all items being rejected and sent back for drying. 3.4 Quantities and details: A 1,240 Jumpsuits – Orange – Male general population C 150 Jumpsuits – Blue/White – Road Squad & Trustees D 240 Jumpsuits – Navy Blue – Female general population E 280 Jumpsuits – White - Kitchen F 1,600 Flat sheets – White H 1,600 Blankets – Cotton White I 1,600 Towels – Cotton White J 1,600 Washcloths – Cotton White K 10 Carts L 40 Service for mesh bags – inmate underwear (optional) 8,360 Items 3.5 No mileage rates, no service charges or fuel surcharges are to be included in pricing or invoicing for the term of this contract. These should be included in your unit pricing as an “all in” cost. 3.6 Actual need based per Jail staff: A. When it comes to the laundry service, when we first started the journey I requested that we have roughly 500 of random sizes of jump suits and female top and bottoms on hand in the facility. Our average daily population is around 290 and we book and release around 100-150 and we try to keep some on standby for emergency backup. B. With that, our weekly orange jump suit count that is sent out is XL 100, 2XL 145, 3XL 95, 4XL 75, 5XL 20, 6XL 6 and 10XL 8. C. The female weekly count on blue tops & bottoms would be roughly XL 50, 2XL 52, 3XL 18, 4XL 6 and 5XL 5. D. Red jump suits are not used because we do not house juvenile inmate in our facility, that was the plan when we first started with this new service. E. Kitchen whites which would be top and bottoms that we send out weekly would roughly be XL 115, 2XL 145 and 3XL 65. F. Blue / White Top and Bottoms would be roughly XL 30, 2XL 5 and 3XL 6 . G. The personal whites average about 40 a week. H. All of these numbers are a rough weekly count of what goes out and has to be exchanged.
