The scope of work shall include, but not be limited to, a process, which includes the following: Develop Recruitment Plan o Meet with stakeholders to understand the specific requirements and desired qualificaƟons for the posiƟon, in addiƟon to characterisƟcs, aƩributes, and experience needed for the ideal candidate. o Consult the City of Marshall on the posiƟon’s job descripƟon, qualificaƟons, and compensaƟon. o Establish a Ɵmeline for the recruitment process. PosiƟon Profile Development o Develop a posiƟon profile brochure that accurately represents the community, the City of Marshall, and the posiƟon of Finance Director. Create a Strategic MarkeƟng & Outreach Campaign o Use naƟonal, regional, and local networks to idenƟfy potenƟal candidates. o UƟlize targeted adverƟsing, professional organizaƟons, and other resources to aƩract a diverse and qualified pool of applicants. o IdenƟfy and directly solicit candidates. Candidate Screening and EvaluaƟon o Conduct preliminary screenings, including a review of candidates’ qualificaƟons, work experience, and saƟsfacƟon of meeƟng the minimum requirements. o Conduct addiƟonal screenings, including background checks, reference checks, and media searches. o Provide summary reports on background, strengths, and accomplishments of top candidates
