The undersigned agrees to provide all labor, equipment, applicable materials, traffic control, supervision, insurance, abide by all local, state and federal laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances applicable to performing the work described in these specifications. The work is generally described as removal of woody debris and vegetation in water / sewer easements within New Hanover, Brunswick & Columbus County. This contract may involve chainsaws, blade/string weed-eaters, chippers and hand tools to clear vegetative material in order to restore access to existing utility easements. The work is not limited to these tools. The Contractor will be required to make all scheduled onsite meeting showing the approximate locations of the easements. Surveying and staking the limits of easement will only be performed by the Authority in areas where access and visual inspections fail to define the existing easement. The approximate debris removal amounts are defined in the Contractor bid sheet. Unless otherwise noted in the Special Provisions Section of this Contract, The Authority does not propose to furnish any materials for this project. Please note that acceptable materials for this work shall only be as specified in this Contract and as approved by Rightof-way Maintenance upon submittal. The Contractor shall minimize the footprint of the work site for the nature of the work to be completed. Work shall not extend beyond the authorized easement limits for the project, or in areas where easements are not present.
