MAG is seeking an experienced, nationally recognized, multi-disciplinary planning and engineering firm, or team of firms, to conduct a comprehensive subarea transportation analysis. In addition to assessing existing conditions, significant public outreach and a statistically valid survey are necessary. The project also requires the development and analysis of numerous transportation alternatives for the area. While this project will holistically review potential transportation options, there is particular interest in the development of a tramway solution or similar high-capacity transportation solution operating in a dedicated right-of-way alternative. Responding firms should display the commensurate level of experience and expertise needed to not only evaluate the potential modes, but also speak to the feasibility of their implementation as well as their operation, economic impacts, and associated costs.
