1. Review and analysis of current research and data to include but not limited to the NKADD’s Housing Data Analysis, the NKADD’s Home for All Housing Strategies, the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana’s (OKI) Regional Housing Dashboard, the 2024 Kenton County Comprehensive Plan, and any related national best practices, research, data, and/or studies. 2. Identify areas of interest suitable for increased density to support income-aligned housing (including senior housing) throughout the County. 3. Conduct housing market/cost analysis within identified areas of interest to include cost of different housing types and illustrate comparisons with other municipalities in the county and region. (This step may afford opportunities in the future for further analysis). 4. Assess and measure the income-aligned housing trends and any drivers of change identified. 5. Conduct an analysis of barriers to income-aligned housing. 6. Determine the feasibility and sustainability of income-aligned housing in Kenton County relative to the housing market analysis and economic trends.
