The Consultant will provide the following services to the Tribe: a. Prepare a timeline for the development of assigned grants, identifying completion dates for each component of the grant request. b. Provide federal and state grant proposal writing services, including the development of wellorganized, compelling proposals, funding abstracts, project workplans and timelines, application forms, and other required submission materials. c. Ensure that all required components of each proposal are included in the submission, and that each grant package is timely and correctly prepared, per the requirements and restrictions of the respective funder’s portal and technical submission requirements. d. Prepare budgets and budget narratives, following guidelines presented in the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) or Request for Proposals (RFP). e. Attend applicable pre-proposal online workshops/webinars and video meetings with Tribal staff to secure information needed for proposal development, as required. f. Design graphs, charts, and visuals that illustrate key processes, programmatic concepts, and cycles of work/project timelines, as required. g. Secure all required supplemental documentation, including drafting and collecting signed copies of letters of support. h. Provide digital copies of final application materials to the Grants Office. i. Edit draft proposals for consistency of messaging, ensuring integration of grant requirements and succinctness before final review by the Tribe and submission to the funder. j. Research grant prospects, primarily focused on federal and state requests for proposals, and prepare funding summaries of opportunities that align with the Tribe’s funding needs, as required. k. Submit invoices detailing project hours and work completed at the close of the assigned project.
