To contract for the use of a fully functional crab fishing vessel by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) as living quarters and operations base to assess blue king crab stock abundance and conduct crab research in waters west of 172° West longitude in the St. Matthew Island Section (Area ‘Q’ of the Bering Sea), Alaska. The vessel must be manned by an experienced captain and a minimum of four (4) additional vessel crew. ADF&G will place four (4) department personnel aboard the vessel to study captured crabs and other marine life, and to monitor all catches. The charter length is estimated to be for up to twenty-one (21) days. The start date will be between August 10 and September 6, 2025, to be determined and agreed upon between ADF&G and the successful bidder/contractor.
