1. Inspection of HVAC ducts, registers, diffusers, and related HVAC equipment (fans, heating/cooling units, etc.) to develop a priced proposal to perform interior and exterior equipment cleaning services. a. Areas to inspect include: supply and exhaust ducts and equipment located in loading/processing areas (60 foot boom lift needed), tipping area, lidding area, lower level including ramp area, corridors, HVAC rooms, men’s and women’s locker rooms, security, breakroom, mezzanine area (ducts and fans), foremen’s roof area (ducts and fans), and other areas as determined by DSNY. b. See the typical transfer station HVAC system drawings, included as Exhibit 1 to this Scope of Services. 2. Clean and remove dust from interior and exterior HVAC ducts and equipment located in areas identified in Item 3.1.a. 3. The Contractor is required to have all necessary insurance and permits needed to perform the work, as detailed in Schedule A. 4. All work performed will follow NADCA standards and the contractor will provide an onsite supervisor that shall be National Air Duct Cleaners Association (“NADCA”) certified, or equivalent (subject to DSNY approval). 5. The Contractor will ensure that precautionary measures are implemented and enforced to minimize the dust and debris from migrating within work area. This may include the covering of areas with fire retardant. The Contractor will leave these areas in broom clean condition upon completion of the work.
