the concessionaire responsibilities and services include: 1. Operation of sales of food and beverage goods including the acquisition, storage, preparation, and sale of goods. 2. General maintenance to the facilities and associated concessions equipment required due to normal usage including, but not limited to, regular cleaning, maintenance and repair of concession equipment, regular cleaning within the footprint of the concession facilities floors, walls, counters, and general concession areas interior. a. The concessionaire is also responsible for the upkeep of cleanliness of the outside areas, counters on the exterior of the Park Concession stand, the dining area and decking in the designated area. b. Litter and trash within the concession area must be removed daily from the park by the concessionaire unless authorized for disposal in a DEEP Park Dumpster by the Park Supervisor. A rough sketch of the concession area for each state park is indicated in Attachment C – Concession Area Maps. 3. The menu is subject to the review and approval of the DEEP Park’s Director or designee and shall include light fare typical of similar venues, for example items such as breakfast sandwiches, hot dog, hamburgers, light sandwiches, chips, snacks, ice cream and hot and cold beverages.
