A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for WEDNESDAY, MAY 7, 2025. In the Commission Chambers at City Hall located at 5790 Margate Blvd., Margate, FL 33063. It is the responsibility of each Proposer before submitting a bid to visit the site to become familiar with the local conditions that may affect equipment requirements, cost, progress, or performance of Work and to consider federal, state, and local laws and regulations that may affect cost, progress, or performance of Work. Work shall be completed during normal business hours, Monday thru Friday, 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Note: Hours may be flexible at the Director’s discretion or approval. A minimum of three (3) years HVAC contractor’s experience in the field of HVAC systems installation is required. Contractor shall meet required qualifications of Florida State Chapter 489 to perform the entire scope of work and submit proof thereof. Contractor’s personnel and vehicles must be clearly identified with the Business name and/or logo and applicable license numbers, according to State, County, and City ordinances. In addition, Contractor’s employees shall be uniformly dressed i.e., t-shirt with name and/or logo, caps, etc. Contractor shall be responsible for initiating, maintaining, and supervising all safety precautions and programs in connection with the work as needed. Contractor must provide all warranty information for equipment and installation, to the City prior to receiving final inspection.
