The purpose of this project is to repair and restore the Balfour Riverwalk Footbridge (footbridge), situated at Riverbank Road and the 10 Mile River in Attleboro, MA (02703). This restoration will prioritize preserving the original structure and design while ensuring the footbridge is safe, functional, and aesthetically valuable for community use. Removal of Damaged Elements: • Carefully remove any deteriorated decking, railings, and guardrails while minimizing disruption to the underlying framework. Replacement and Installation: • Install new decking, railings, and guardrails using materials that complement the existing design and meet safety standards. • Ensure all new components are securely fitted and capable of withstanding environmental conditions.
