The County of Riverside Purchasing Department on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office (RSO) Technical Services Bureau (TSB) is soliciting quotations from qualified bidders for Satellite Internet Provider Services as detailed in this Request for Quote (RFQ). TSB is responsible for maintaining storage solutions for various RSO divisions. The current Nimble storage array for Sheriff’s 911 Dispatch needs replaced and will be moved to a new location to provide additional ongoing storage. The purpose of this solicitation is to secure five-year pricing, renewable in one-year increments, for an initial order of an Alletra (or equal) server solution to replace the Nimble system, and expansion in future years. Server will be used as storage with the County’s VMware server environment. Bidders must understand there will be no five-year upfront payment for goods/services provided over multiple years. A new blanket purchase order will be issued on an annual basis.
