A. Contractor shall be licensed in the State of California to provide Surgeons, Radiologist, Dentist, and Technicians that are trained and specialized in Veterinary and Boarding Services; The veterinarian must have a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or Veterinary Medical Doctor from an American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) approved school of veterinary medicine. B. Contractor shall provide twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week services, including availability for emergency care with life support equipment and qualified trained staff that are Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVT) and advanced critical care, trauma management, emergency surgery, internal medicine and critical care. C. Contractor shall maintain schedule for preventative care and notify County when canine is due for treatment and/or vaccinations. D. Contractor shall maintain detector dog health records and provided copies to County upon request. Records shall not be disseminated to anyone other than County. E. Contractor shall ensure that kennels are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner. F. Contractor shall comply with all applicable environmental regulations as related to disposal of medical waste.
