The Contractor shall supply all labor and equipment services as may be necessary to fulfill the requirements of this solicitation. In the delivery or performance of the goods and legal, technical and business services, the Contractor shall use its best efforts to provide the goods and legal and business services set forth in the Contract (and any resulting Task Order and Notice to Proceed) and such goods and services shall be delivered timely and in good workmanlike fashion employing the Contractor’s best efforts to complete the goods and services in the best and soundest way and in the most expeditious and economical manner consistent with the interests of MHA. Moreover, the delivery of the goods and services shall all comply with the laws of the United States, applicable regulations and standards of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”), and all applicable state, county, city and local codes and ordinances. The scope of work will require the vending companies to provide snack/soft drink, vending machine product services at various MHA site locations. The contractor will be required to conduct an assessment to determine recommended optimal product selection, equipment needs and placement. The contractor will be required to: maintain vending equipment to insure it remains in good repair, to provide reliable operations, maximum product availability, and the cleanliness of vending equipment and sites. Vendor may submit proposal to provide vending for snacks and/or beverages. The Mobile Housing Authority offers to allow permission to prospective vendors to install and operate vending machines at various site locations, and provide electrical service for same, for a fixed percentage of monthly sales. SPECIFICATIONS: • All vending equipment to be in new or “like new” condition (as determined by MHA) • All vending equipment must receive dollar bills and provide change. No exact change machines will be accepted. • Equipment must be sized to meet available space. • Vending products must be “fresh” first quality goods. Stale and/or expired products are to be removed. • Vending machines are to be replenished as needed but not less than weekly. • All vending equipment, machines and vehicles used by the contractor are to be clearly and permanently labeled with the name of the contracting company, street address, phone number and contact person. • All vending equipment and machines will remain the property and responsibility of the contractor. • The contractor and/or his employees are not employees or agents of the MHA. • The contractor will be responsible for and will timely satisfy claims of loss made by vending equipment users. • The Contractor will provide the MHA documentation to verify monthly sales activity for each piece of equipment. Such documentation will be remitted with commissions earned to the MHA no later than 30 calendar days of the month ending.
