The RFCSP is to provide interested vendors with uniform information concerning the Rockwall Independent School District requirements for an Aruba Wi-Fi Infrastructure at Maurine Cain Middle School and J.W. Williams Middle School. The scope of this project is to put in place a new Aruba Wi-Fi Infrastructure that will connect to our existing LAN Infrastructure. Due to the complexity and amount of knowledge required for successful placement and configuration, the Rockwall Independent School District is seeking a complete turnkey solution that covers from equipment acquisition to complete installation. Detailed Specifications • The intent of this project is to install Aruba AP-635 and AP-655 access points into the existing network and configure in accordance with Rockwall ISD Technology specifications. It is expected that all vendor proposals will provide a turnkey solution that integrates seamlessly into our existing network infrastructure. • It is expected that proposals will not introduce unreasonable technical and administrative burdens associated with learning, troubleshooting, and connecting to the solution presented. • The vendor proposal will consider all costs, technicalities, planning, hardware, software, miscellaneous needs, and necessary labor required to provide a complete turnkey solution. • Bids that do not include a turnkey solution or partial bids will be disqualified. • Bids that do not include a complete and detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) and Statement of Work (SOW) will be disqualified. • The Rockwall Independent School District expects that vendors are fully certified and knowledgeable in regards to the physical cabling, installation, and configuration of all items required by this RFCSP. • Vendor will coordinate with Rockwall ISD Technology once RFCSP is awarded to determine delivery dates, installation location, and storage before installation if necessary.
