1. Remove old windows, exterior wood brick molding, and sill. Remove the interior stool. apron, and casing. Drop cloth work area. 2. Install new windows using standard (Approx. 2”) factory applied brick molding and subsill. 3. Install new pine 2 ¼” 356 or 366 colonial casing, stool and apron. After properly installing insulation between window frame and rough framing. Shim according to manufacture’s specifications. Stool should be clear pine with eased edge. 4. Fit window according to masonry opening. Caulk to brick. 5. Field verify the 6 openings that need windows. 6. Windows should be double hung Low E w/ Argon glass muntins 3/2 x 3/2. Lock and lift hardware white. 7. Exterior window: Aluminum-clad – standard white. 8. Exterior sill: Replace existing with treated TYP or cedar – knot free, if possible. 9. Prime and paint exterior sill to match cladding caulk and seal. 10. Interior: all windows and trims will be primed and painted white to match the door (existing casing) as much as possible. 11. Clean and remove all debris from work area.
