The selected engineering firm will provide professional design services for the development of a well system at the Pahrump Fairgrounds. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: 4.1 Design a well system capable of supplying potable water for the Pahrump Fairgrounds, including pump, motor, and all necessary appurtenances. The design shall include a truck-fill station capable of efficiently filling water trucks. The system shall be compliant with NSF, ANSI 61, and Bureau of Safe Drinking Water Standards. Design a well enclosure and enclosure for the site using a chainlink fence with barbed wire to ensure security and protection. 4.2 Design a well enclosure and site security fencing using a chain-link fence with barbed wire to ensure protection from unauthorized access and external contamination. 4.3 Develop an electrical system design to connect the well system to Valley Electric Association’s power service, including specifications for an electric meter and all necessary electrical components. 4.4 Prepare and submit all required documentation to obtain regulatory approvals permit from the following entities: Nye County Public Works Nye County Building and Safety Valley Electric Association (VEA) Nevada Department of Environmental Protection (NDEP) 4.5 Provide detailed construction plans and specifications for all aspects of the project, including civil, mechanical, and electrical designs. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards governing potable water systems.
