The Nye County Public Works Department is accepting Statements of Qualifications for landfill engineering consulting services. The selected Contractor will work collaboratively with the Public Works Department to provide comprehensive engineering and compliance services for Nye County’s three municipal landfills: • Pahrump Valley Sanitary Landfill – Class I Approximately 42 acres 1631 E Mesquite Ave Pahrump, NV 89060 • Tonopah Sanitary Landfill – Class II Approximately 80 acres US Hwy 6 Tonopah, NV 89049 • Round Mountain Sanitary Landfill – Class II Approximately 40 acres North of Jct 92 & 376 Hwys Round Mountain, NV 89045 In addition to the three landfills above, Nye County has 4 bin stations located throughout the County in Amargosa Valley, Beatty, Belmont, and Manhattan.
