Prep surface for Demolition & Removal 14.3.1.1 Contractor shall provide all equipment, material, supplies, traffic control, and labor as required. 14.3.1.2 Contractor is responsible for obtaining any permits or certification required by city of El Centro. Any permits acquired shall be turn into Housing Authority upon completion of the job. 14.3.1.3 Contractor shall coordinate with maintenance personal and tenant to schedule work demo and installation. Once a schedule has been determined the contractor shall submit the schedule to contracting officer. 14.3.1.4 Contractor will coordinate with Dig Alert for marking of existing lines prior to demolition. (Contractor will be held responsible for any damages cause to any lines underground during the duration of the contract) 14.3.1.5 Perform preparation and cleaning, and safety procedures in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions for the particular substrate condition. 14.3.1.6 Demolition & removal and properly dispose of existing concrete parking, approximately 14,200 sq. ft. on North Parking Lot and 8,900 sq. ft. on South Parking Lot. (existing base will be used to regrade and compact per section 14.3.2) 14.3.1.7 Demolition of sidewalk east of south parking lot as shown on section 15.3, page . (existing base will be used to regrade and compact per section 14.3.2) 14.3.1.8 Demolition & removal of unused island on North and South parking. 14.3.1.9 Demo island curbs that are in use by electrical or fire hydrant. 14.3.1.10 Haul away and dispose of all debris resulting from work on a daily basis. 14.3.1.11 Prepare site for new installation.
