Scope of Services The vendor is to provide temporary staffing services to Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) as required for a quick response to immediate employee needs based on the following levels of employees: • OPTION 1 – General Office / Clerical / Professional Personnel • OPTION 2 – Skilled Labor / Craftsmen • OPTION 3 – Information Technology Personnel 2.2 Requirements 2.2.1 Personnel Employed by Vendor All temporary personnel shall be employed by the Vendor. The Vendor shall be responsible for all payroll, taxes, workers’ compensation, insurance, and other federal and state requirements for temporary personnel. Vendors should always have an abundant number of temporary personnel available to eliminate overtime rates/charges. The vendor will ensure temporary personnel are suitable for work in an educational environment and will immediately remove any temporary personnel at the request of OCCC. Vendors will be responsible for, and immediately attend to, at their cost, any onthe-job injury that may occur. 2.2.2 Right of Refusal OCCC shall have the right at any time to refuse or determine unacceptable any temporary personnel sent by the Vendor. Refusal of any temporary personnel shall be in accordance with Equal Opportunity Employment Guidelines. The temporary personnel shall be immediately removed and prompt arrangements made for a suitable replacement. 2.2.3 Pre-Employment Screenings The Vendorshall be responsible for conducting a thorough background check and pre-employment screening prior to a temporary personnel’s placement with OCCC. Alcohol and drug screenings will be conducted if required by OCC for the placement. All background checks/screening information must be available to OCCC upon request for review. OCCC shall also reserve the right to conduct its own background check if it is in the best interest of the college to do so prior to temporary personnel placement. 2.2.4 Testing The Vendor shall be responsible for conducting pre-employment testing that is both a valid and reliable predictor of a candidate’s ability to perform required tasks as a temporary employee of OCCC. All test results shall be made available to OCCC upon request.
