The Engineering Firm will be responsible for the following: 1. Conduct data collection, field investigations, and surveys necessary for the design, permitting and construction of the proposed improvements. 2. Prepare preliminary design documents addressing riverbank deterioration issues. 3. Upon approval of preliminary design, prepare final, detailed construction drawings & written specifications for the riverbank stabilization work area, to address all deterioration issues. All construction drawings & written specifications must be suitable for public bidding purposes. 4. Prepare Federal, State, and Local permits necessary to perform the proposed work. This includes the preparation of all information, drawings, and materials required for submission to any of the above agencies whose approval and/or review of this Project may be required. 5. Assist the City with review of construction bids received, including vetting of bidders, and assistance in the selection of the General Contractor and any Sub-contractorsfor this Project.
