a) The court reporter must be a Kansas certified court reporter, located in Kansas. b) Attend attorney disciplinary hearings and investigative interviews (approximately 30-40 hearings per year and approximately 15 interviews). Most hearings are held in Topeka or by Zoom, but hearings from time to time may be held in other Kansas locations. c) Record and transcribe the hearings and interviews and transcribe other recordings as needed. d) May need to be available at short notice in emergency situations. e) Must be able to provide daily transcripts, if needed. f) Must be able to do real time transcription, if needed. g) May need to be able to provide additional accommodations, such as, but not limited to, live captioning. h) Bids must include a completed cost sheet. i) Bids should also include a guaranteed time frame for delivery of original transcript.
