The Contractor’s storage facility shall provide a level of protection consistent with industry standards and must meet all applicable and current local, state and federal laws and requirements governing such services. The storage facility or facilities must be fully secured 24 hours a day equipped with motion, smoke and heat detectors/alarms to prevent loss from theft and fire. The storage facility should be free of any rodents, animals or insects that may cause damages to the stored items. The Contractor shall provide proof on a quarterly basis of rodent and insect treatment and inspection reports stating that the site is free of such. The storage facility may not house any hazardous or flammable materials. The storage facility must be equipped with an intrusion alarm system for each storage unit that is monitored 24 hours per day, including weekends and holidays. The storage facility may not be housed within a flood zone. The storage facility should be free of any potential water damages from the outside of facility. Items shall be stored at the Storage Location identified in Schedule “C” of this RFQ. Items shall not be stored at any other sites without the Department’s written authorization.
