This project consists of installing a traffic signal along with northbound and southbound left turn lanes on Avenue 4E at the County 14th Intersection near Yuma in Yuma County, Arizona. The improvements include new signals and equipment, street lighting, irrigation modifications, pavement widening, and signing & pavement markings. The existing roadway will be widened asymmetrically. The new pavement on the outside will be utilized for new travel lanes and shoulders while the existing pavement will accommodate the turn lanes. Avenue 4E will be widened with a portion paved and unpaved within the shoulders. The existing pavement will have a fog coat. The project is located in the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) Southeast District. The average project elevation is 209 feet.
