DWR employs personnel involved in repairing, servicing, and equipping hydroelectric, mobile, and heavy equipment. These personnel are required to wear Personal Protective Clothing and items for safety and protection. This agreement will provide Personal Protective Clothing and items worn as Flame Resistant (FR) and Arc-rated clothing, and other required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) rental services for DWR employees to maintain compliance with National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 29 CRF 1910.269. These regulations require employers to provide Personal Protective Clothing for the employees to safely perform assigned duties.; The term "personal protective clothing and items" will refer to FR and arc-rated clothing and electrical PPE.; The Contractor will provide all labor, materials, supplies, documentation, equipment, transportation, including travel and per diem, and all other items of expense necessary to provide rental, laundering, training, weekly pick-up, and delivery services for DWR employees.
